Imperato Congratulates Bush for Visiting Abu Dhabi

Miami, FL – (i1connect News) - Today 2008 Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato spoke to the media in regards to President Bush’s ongoing trip to the Middle East.

“It is about time our president visits Abu Dhabi and learns the turf of Middle East Countries,” stated Imperato, “I believe it is his first time.”

Imperato is global business veteran with over 30 years of expertise in the region. Originally, Imperato began his business career in 1977 in Israel and over the years did business throughout the Middle East and throughout the world.

“I have spent many years in Abu Dhabi and have been there many times. That is why I understand the land and the people it. The same goes for Israel. I started my business life there over 30 years ago.”

Throughout his candidacy Imperato has made the case that America’s Next President should have a strong foreign relations background because these times call for global smarts.

“I understand the political environment and culture from my experience in the region. I understand the religions of the land by studying and talking with people on issues and differences for over 30 years.”
In the UAE, American President George W Bush made they key speech of his Middle East tour in Abu Dhabi, praising the UAE as a model of the Muslim state in an address titled 'Power is a trust'.
The United Arab Emirates have shown the world a model of the Muslim state that is tolerant towards its people and other faiths, said President Bush.
The UAE founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, has succeeded in building a country and a prosperous society out of the desert, said Bush in his speech at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi where he started Sunday his visit to the UAE.
President Bush used his remarks to speak directly to the people of the Middle East. He reiterated his support for Palestinians' aspirations for a state of their own, and urged the Palestinian people to oppose the extremists and terrorists who represent the greatest threat to those aspirations. He pledged that the United States will help the Palestinian people build the institutions of democracy and prosperity.
The president also reiterated that the United States will always stand with Israel in the face of terrorism and support it as it works to ensure the security of its people.
Imperato concluded his address to the media with these remarks.

“I hope and pray that President Bush learned a great deal from his trip to the Middle East. These are tough times that demand smart leadership. While I commend him for reaching out to these nations he has visited, I ask him to study the people while he is there, and learn what the root of the problems in the region is. I ask him to understand the people and why they think what they think. I once again offer my service to my country to represent the US on the administration’s behalf to go and make peace. I feel it is my duty as an American, which is why I want to be your next president.”
